1. About PMU – Philippines Makeup University

PMU – Philippines Makeup University ("PMU," "we," "us") is a professional beauty education and skills training brand operating in the Philippines. PMU provides short-course professional training programs, skills workshops, and non-degree certification programs in the beauty industry.

PMU – Philippines Makeup University is not a CHED-recognized higher education institution and does not offer academic degrees, diplomas, or any CHED-regulated qualifications. All programs are professional skills training programs only.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting an enrollment inquiry, enrolling in any program, or using any PMU service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

3. Eligibility

To enroll in PMU programs, you must:

4. Enrollment and Reservation

• Receipt and review of your enrollment inquiry by PMU admissions
• Successful payment of the required reservation fee
• Receipt of a written enrollment confirmation from PMU

PMU reserves the right to decline or limit enrollments at its discretion. Reservation fees are subject to the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

5. Program Content and Modifications

PMU reserves the right to modify program content, schedule, trainers, venue, and format to maintain quality and address operational requirements. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students in advance. PMU does not guarantee specific outcomes, employment, income, or professional success from program completion.

6. Certification

Upon successful completion of a program — including attendance, practical assessments, and any required evaluations — students will receive a PMU Certificate of Completion. This certificate:

• Certifies completion of the stated professional training program
• Is not an academic degree, diploma, or CHED-recognized qualification
• Is issued by PMU – Philippines Makeup University as a private training provider
• May not be represented as an academic credential to third parties

7. Student Conduct

Students are expected to comply with the PMU Student Code of Conduct at all times during training. PMU reserves the right to dismiss students who violate conduct standards. Dismissed students may not be entitled to a refund, subject to the circumstances and the Refund Policy.

8. Photography and Media Consent

Training sessions may be photographed or recorded by PMU for educational, marketing, and documentation purposes. By enrolling, students consent to being photographed in a training context unless they explicitly opt out in writing before their program begins. Students may request exclusion from specific uses by contacting admissions.

9. Intellectual Property

All PMU course materials, training manuals, documents, and content — whether delivered digitally or in print — are the intellectual property of PMU – Philippines Makeup University. Students may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or use PMU materials for commercial teaching purposes without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, PMU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in PMU programs, use of this website, or reliance on information provided. PMU's liability is limited to the amount paid by the student for the relevant program.

11. Health and Safety

Students participate in PMU programs at their own risk. Students must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect their ability to safely participate in training. PMU will not be liable for reactions or injuries arising from undisclosed pre-existing conditions.

13. Governing Law
